Would like to replace the stock head unit with an alpine or other high end head unit so I can pickup additional features that the stock unit does not have.
Looking for head unit recommendations and the pro's con's of doing it
I have got an Alpine 9886m marine cd radiowith Biketronics module.I have had Sony marine headunits and both got water damage thru splashcovers. The Alpine I highly recommend.I also recommend the Biketronics setup mainly because it is the only one I know of that lets you use AVC.I am also using Hertz 6.5 in speakers, tweeter pod and an Elf audio amp. I mainly play my music thru flashdrive which Alpine has and in my opinion is better than a IPOD mainly because it is hidden away and accessed thru stereo.
