OK . . . I have the HD service manual, the HD parts manual, and even the HD supplemental manual for my 03 SERK . . .
Here is the question: "Do I really need the 2003 Touring Electrical Diagnostic Manual?"
Of course I will buy it . . . if I identify a real need . . . yes, I work on my own bike for most regular stuff . . . replace my own handlebars, adding passing lamps, cables, etc . . .
But I cannot figure out a real reason to by the 03 Touring Electrical Diagnostic Manual if I own a Screamin Eagle Road King . . . not a whole lot of electrical stuff on that model . . . even had to put on my own passing lights.
Convince me that spending the bucks ($48 plus shipping) is really worth and I will buy . . . I want to by it, but only if I really need it.
I'm looking for one from somewhere if anyone can help...
I just wound up buying a new one, getting a 20% discount from a dealer on it.
With the great members and info on this forum, probably was not a smart buy for me, but, I intend to keep the bike to the grave . . . Got it, but probably will never use it.
You might try posting a WTB . . . Or look on eBay for a used one.
managed to get a workshop manual download for the bike and sussed my problem down to a faulty neutral sensor... now I just have to get one to replace it.. still the bike is still going..
re-wiring for me is a non-started as I don't make the expertise or understanding to do it..30 years on bikes and still wiring looms are still often a labyrinth of problems..
