I took delivery on my new black FLHX Street Glide today. Love it. I read a lot of your post on here and theres some smart guys on here. So I thought before I really went out there $ wise I would ask the experts. How do I get more out of this engine THE RIGHT WAY. A lot of you guys have already been playing around with the new 07. First. What do I do with these crap pipes ? Theyve got a 02 on them. Then the engine. Thanks for your help.
Gear drive cams, rinehart ex. and big sucker breather kit will wake it up. big bore kit and ported heads will finish it off if u can handle the expense. 06 sg 95 big bore kit , rinehart duals, s&s 510 g cams, ported heads SE race tuner. 99fp torque 93 hp
Ditto on the previous posts with the addition of a dyno tune once you add all the components to ensure you achieve the max potential of your selected components.

I was actually quite suprised with my new '07. The 96 incher easily has more snap than my '05 88" in my Springer when compared stock to stock.
My '05 has the big sucker, PCIII and Kerker slip-ons and I never needed more.
For the '07, I have heard some mixed feelings on the PCIII. Some guys who like to tune properly do not care for the O2 eliminators and
said they will wait for either the new PC or use the HD Race Tuner and keep the O2s in line.
I am going with either the '07 version of the PC or the race tuner, V & H dresser duals with Wild Pig Slip ons and the Arlen Ness big sucker.
For my type of riding that will be all I'll ever need.
