A fellow forum member (jlb0038) pm'd me this video after he read in another thread that I had a soft spot down low with the setup you see in my signature. I felt like I should post this up for everyone to see because Id never heard of doing this and others may give me some feedback on their results if they have done this. Heres the video:
My dyno tuner does this from time to time, but he didn't feel it necessary on my bike.
That video is a bit misleading. I would have liked to see the bike tuned first, then the mod, then tuned again. Only then would you have a true representation of what that mod accomplishes.
No.
Interesting.
LA HD, in Lewiston ME. I have been there many times. Biggest HD dealer in Maine. They have treated me fair. I'll ask about this next time I go there.
Subscribed.

So by doing this mod you think the bike would need to be retuned?
The dealer here in Reno does this on every TH they tune. I saw a comparison dyno somewhere about 2 yrs ago but cant remember where, maybe HDT?? It did bring the TH dip up a little. Dont know if youd feel it though, especially with the 255 cam. Just bend a couple of tabs in and see if it makes a difference for you. Ive done it but couldnt tell. You cant hurt anything, you can always bend them back.

If your fussy. Back pressure and exhaust systems play a large part. Here is the difference with bending the tabs on a pair of slip ons. Run 175 was were a Fuelmoto 2:1:2 headpipe replaced the stock head pipe. Just don't bend them all the way out.

Lonewolf, what year/model bike is this chart from and what were the other mods?
