Default Harmon Kardon Red Screen aaaarrrghhhh

Does anyone have a solution to the contrast problem both day and night. Day would love to have more contrast, night, would just like to see through the red background. Any adjustments that I can Make? I have looked over everything in my owners manual

Thanks George

It's just not the contrast or brightness. If you look straight on during day or night I can see it just fine. The problem I have is I'm over 6 feet tall and the screen is not pointed at my eyes but my waistline and I cannot bend down far enough to see it clearly. If I was 3 feet tall it would be perfect but then I couln't touch the ground. The screen needs to be designed to show towards the drivers head area or make a design change to tilt the whole radio. Just my thoughts.

I am over six feet tall and I have no problems seeing the screen without changing the settings day or night.

The display looked great in the showroom on my 2010 UC LTD, but even after adjusting the contrast, if you can call it an adjustment, it still sucks day or night. It's so easy to get an LCD screen that's easy to read in day and night conditions,. Why can't Harley put one on a $25K bike? It's amazing the sorry **** we all put up with on these bikes.

I was looking to solve the same problem..and have not found a easy solution either. I can see it pretty good during the day but at night, forget about it! Wish they would have used a crisper contrast
