thanks for all the suggestions guys.... I keep my fairing, saddle bags, tour pak, etc looking great with car wash soap, wash mitt, chamois, etc. I was just afraid of ruining the chrome parts if I sprayed the wrong product on them. I'm not too up on that stuff, but I am now - thanks again.

Oh, by the way, a pipe cleaner soaked in dawn dish soap to clean between the cooling fins on the jugs sounds like a great idea....... I wish I would have thought of that. I use dawn dishsoap to clean greasy car parts, snowmobile parts, dirt bike parts, etc.

Lol...funny how a few posts containing Dawn soap sparked 2 vendor ads off to the right side of the page.

Not if Firefox is your browser and you have the AdBlock Plus add-on. No ads to clutter up the screen.

S100 total cycle cleaner on the engine, then wash the whole bike with soap and water. Dry, wax and detail the motor with Pig Spit. Looks like new!

Krud Cutter is THE best degreaser I have ever used.... It's safe to use on anythign too. For the scoot I just spray it on and rinse it off after a few minutes. I use it full strength.

I started using it originally on my deep fryers to get the oil build up off. I sprayed it on and it dissolves the light gunk within minutes with some easy wiping with just a rag. Couldn't believe it ! I first thought something was wrong as I had never seen cooked on fryer oil come off a fryer like that.

Heavy gunk I use a scratchy pad with the same results. I use it full strength in a spray bottle on EVERYTHING now..... Best chit ever !
