Getting ready to do a service on my 2011 RKC (Yep, I just bought the manual - Hopefully it gives the ounces in each hole) and would like some help with part numbers, description/etc. so I can use Red Line in all the holes. Did a search, but couldn't come up with all the product names/numbers. Anyone have this information? Please share! Thanks!!
I bought the Red Line Big Twin 20W50 PowerPack at racerpartswhosale.com (click on the link). It has all the oils. You will however have to buy an extra quart of the Primary oil as the touring models take more than the one quart supplied in the kit. Go to your HD dealer get the oil filter, 3 o-rings and derby cover gasket, then you're set to change your fluids.
That is exactly what I did only found out the hard way that the touring models take 4 oz more than the one qt supplied in the kit. Had to find another qt to finish up. Huge difference in the clutch feel. I really like the Red Line.
I go there and pick the same kit up in person. Great people, very nice. I've been using Redline for a couple years now after trying Amsoil and other brands. Much prefer the Redline.
I also use the Redline PowerPack. Not intending on hijacking the thread but, speaking of that kit, has anyone used the fuel injector cleaner that comes in the kit? I have a couple of bottles on the shelf, just never tried it.
