the big local dealer down here isn't giving any breaks off MSRP, but they do throw in a $2000 Chrome Card when you buy a "Close-Out 2011." the 2 dealers down the road, and 1 an hour away are more willing to deal and will give some, but not a whole lot....heck they are having a "Re-Po sale and have 100's of bikes in the lot and still want MSRP on used, high mileage bank repo's.

There should be a website setup as there is for cars where you ask for best price from a network of dealers that reply to you. I know price isn't everything but it's a start..

Whenever I get the new bike itch that's exactly what I think of...all the time and money that's gone in to making my current bike my own. Mine's not paid for yet and won't be for a while but every time I think of starting over from stock, I come to my senses!

Their 2012 prices were at MSRP. The buyer said that he's got so many orders, they're not making ANY deals. Oddly enough he said he wouldn't order a white RKC for me because he thought they look stupid and he wouldn't be able to sell it....even though I was standing right in front of him asking for one.

I think I'm just going to send out an email to all the dealers in the area that says "Looking for a white 2012 RKC - lowest OTD price gets my business".
They have one in stock at Henderson Harley Davidson (just outside of Las Vegas)

Every once in a while I think about a new bike but then I remember that they don't make Road King Customs anymore. The itch goes away.

Try saving the cash then making an offer that YOU want to pay for the bike you like. It's much better than trying to play hardball then saying, "Can I borrow your money at a good rate for this." Cash will always rule, but not everyone is mature enough to save it.
