It's only worthless at highway speeds if you don't the right setup. But, some not all, don't mind riding without music.

Be thankful that it is still in warranty. New OEM units go for about a grand apiece. I think Iron Cross Audio sells a recondition unit for about $250.00. I went through two Harmon Kardons under warranty the first two years. They are of poor quality.
