Default CD player quit already

Well on our Mikwaukee trip my CD player quit working. It won't read or eject the disc and keeps showing disk error on the screen. I did finally get the first disc out and tried a different one with same result other than it still won't eject.

Took it to the dealer today and they did all they could but looks like they will have to replace the radio.

I think the new one will go on eBay and I will go aftermarket.

Aftermarket ones can break too and none of them are waterproof. I'm on my 3rd touring bike now without a radio mishap. Probably jinxed now but I sacrificed mine so that you would know.

That reminds me........
I've never even tried to use cd player on mine.

My whole music collection is on my iPod anyway.

I have my IPhone and a iPod but prefer using the CD player vs running cords and HD wants to much for the iPod interface.

Figure I can sell the new one and pay for a aftermarket one that has iPod interface.

Mine is too but I keep an mp3 cd with the best of the best in the cd slot for emergencies.
