Kudos to Long Ride Shields
After several emails to James at LRS, and lots of measuring, I ordered a 9" Ultra shield for my '11 Ultra Classic. It arrived likety-split (two days), and I installed it after checking the shield for damage or imperfectons (there were none).
I went for a ride and immediately knew that it wasn't for me. I ride only with a full-face helmet, and and I think that fact may have contibuted to the increased buffeting I experienced with the LRS Ultra, when compared to the 15" tall Harley accessory windshield I have been running.
I was disappointed, to say the least. I really wanted to love the LRS.
I contacted James again via email to explain my dilemma. He told me to just send it back, and they would refund my money. I told him that the shield had been mounted, and the protective plastic wrap was removed. No problem. Just send it back.
I returned it to LRS, and they received it today. I received a FULL refund, including shipping, today- the same day. I really wasn't expecting to get the original shipping charges back. Wow.
Summary: I am a fully satisfied non-customer of Long Ride Shields. They make a quality product, and stand behind their stuff. Great customer service and communication. That's the way business should be done, and they get it right.

I love that story... should be more if them! I found something similar, although untested with Zappos.com. I ordered a pair of HD boots from them. The not only had the best price, they ship free and will pay return shipping too.
Unfortunately the boots arrived 2 days after I ordered them, in perfect condition, and fit perfectly. I didn't get to test the return policy, but am very pleased!
