I found these on HD's website, but there's no statement on whether or not they'd work with a windshield.
I'm not really interested in the auxillary light bar/turn signals. So I need some suggestions on what to do about turn signals up front.
I have always liked the kuryakyn silver bullets. installed them on a softail , the bolts that come with them have a hollow center to run the wire through. Check kuryakyn's site they make some nice lights.
I drilled a hole in the bottom of the switch housing and ran the directional wires through there.
There were allready what looked like drain holes there I just made one bigger. I would recomend using a step bit if you do it. Good luck
I use those turn signals on my RK Custom, and the windshield works fine. The don't mount flush with the forks, they mount "on top" of the detachable rubber pieces for the windshield...
Do they come with that outer chrome bracket (the piece that runs between both of the nacelle studs)?
Waffler: Thanks for the idea. Wish I would have thought of that with everything else taken apart. At this point, I'd rather pay $150 to buy new signals than take all of that stuff apart again.
