Default Did they do me wrong...?

Question.....
Added upgrades to the purchase of my 2011 103 SG.

SE AC w/stock cover
SE Tuner
255e Cam's (talked out of 259e) with adjustable pushrods
Bassani's Covington's Hot Rod True Duals (my choice)

Was told I'd get around 90ish HP and around 100 ft lbs torque...rec's came from parts guy...not service...!
I should have discussed with service, my error.

So having said that, pipes look and sound good. SG Run's great...!
However it Dyno'd at 78.9 HP & 98.8 ft lbs Torque after the mods.
They did not do a dyno before work to show difference.

I know you loose a bit of HP with true duals but I thought I'd surely get more than 79hp....!

Comments...am I whinning for nothing....?

Thanks,

That sounds pretty weak. I would have thought around 90 hp too

Seems low to me, also. What do the specs on a stock 103 say about HP? Hell, I'll look around and see for myself.

Well I've got the 103 kit (bored cyclinders SE pistons) SEAC w/ K&N, SE race tuner, Woods cams & Rinehart true duals. Mine dyno'd out at 103 hp & 117 Tq. and it's a screamer. I'm thoroughly pleased with my bike, Justin from Clinton HD did an awesome job!! Yep, I'd say you pretty well got hosed....Ride safe

Hard to say IF they did you wrong. I've spent $$$ on several scoots and honestly expected better results for what I spent, but supposedly the dyno doesn't lie... just the guys at the stealers do. Had it happen on an Ultra and a Street Glide (2 different stealers). From here on in, my mods are pretty simple and in my advanced years, I'll spent my $$$ on purdy chrome and things.

Thx all.....Well again not sure if I did or didn't, guess I need to give it a few days of riding to really tell, have only rode it home (the long way) from the dealer last nite than to work this AM.
The videos pretty much show's me having more power then their set up...????
Just was expecting more HP...but knowing the Ft Lbs of Torque is good

example... a friend did
259e's / D&D 2-1 / SE tuner / Heavy breather with 97hp & 107 Ft Lbs Torque

HD specs their HP at the crankshaft so you see a bigger number; not at the rear wheel where reality exists and where the dyno reads it.

255's are not big HP cams, but they make a ton of torque, they make it early and make it for a long time..

Buddy of mine has similar setup as you on a 2010 103" FLHX... stage 1 a/c, 255's, SEPST, V&H power duals with Monster Rounds.. dyno'd right about 83 HP and 100 tq..
