Default Harley garage size?

Thinking about a metal shed for the EG Classic, and it seems there are more sizes than there are Harley chrome things.

Space is limited, and size costs. If you have a separate shed for the bike, what size is it and what size would it be if you could trade it in.

Thanks

If you use a metal shed, you will have to worry about all the condensation they create that will drip down on your bike. Then all you will have to worry about is rust. Even if you covered you bike inside the shed, I think that rust could still be an issue. Ride safe.

I just built a 12'x12' shed with a 9'x7' garage door. I vinyl sided it, roofed it, and added vented soffit for air circulation and attached it to a cement pad with a built in ramp for around 2 grand. When I put the bike on its jack I can spin the bike around facing the door and ride right out. I also have plenty of room for a lot more bike things in there.

12 X 12 minimum. Don't forget to run electric to it.

Refrigerator right away, but the flat screen can wait if finances are tight.

Don't try to save too much. It will cost you in the long run when you aren't happy with it.

12x6 is plenty if you just want to store it -- But no doubt, 12x12 easy if you want to actually work on it comfortably.

I've got a 8'x16' building with double doors for my Ultra Classic. It's just the right size with some extra room for storage.

This is an older picture with my Goldwing in it but you can see what it looks like. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's 12" off of the ground. I had to make a ramp for it. If I had it to do over I would just pour a slab and built it.

I used a sears 8 X 10 ( paid $200 used, check craigslist--- these can be disassembled in 6 "slabs", 4 walls and the 2 roof sections), at 8 X 10- roll the bike into, put at a slight angle, and the doors close and "lock". Don't need an alarm, cause the tin dors make a heck of a racket when opening and closing.

It was great for parking, for working on the bike, I moved the car out of the garage and the bike into...

condensation was never a problem as the peak is vented.

2.) on a slab, make sure the shed is anchored. I have seen sheds picked up by storms, a scratched up lawn mower is one thing...but not your bike.
You can also make a wooden 'floor" for it, but beware that it can make good habitat for rodents or scorpions depending on climate

40' x 60'and you'll still run out of room...Seriously, I think a 12 x 12 would be right about the size for your bike. I would also build it from wood and not a metal shed, cement floor even if you have to do it yourself!
