Default Engine Idle Temp Management System

Does anyone know if when this kicks in if the cruise control light starts blinking or not??? I know mine is active and if I roll the throttle forward I see the light but I thought the bike would do it by itself and the light would flash.... I have yet to see mine do this automatically...

If the system is on (green light blinks when you roll forward) it is automatic; nothing will come on to tell you its working. Once the system kicks in you'll notice a difference in the idle of the bike. It will shut off as soon as you give it a bit of gas when you start to move again. I just leave mine "armed" at all times; there is no reason to shut it off as it will only come on when needed.

Yep. It won't let you know it's shut off the rear cylinder, you just have to listen to the tone of the exhaust. Mine used to kick in all the time with the stock cal, now I've only had it happen in really extended stop & go traffic. Retuning to richen it up slightly will make a significant difference.

Nothing indicates its on, you know because the sound of the engine changes and it shakes different.

Ok good, I have noticed the idle change, usually drops alittle below 1000 Rpm and the bike shakes alittle harder...... Well thats what I wanted to know

Thanks

Mine did it once, automatically, and as mentioned you'll feel a difference in the idle vibes. It basically becomes a 800cc thumper, LOL.

Hasn't happened again since I installed IED's & later XIED's...
