Angry Intermittent staling problem.
I know there are threads on this subject already but does anyone know how to check for intake leaks?

2007 street glide
Samson 2 into one Collector
Screamin Eagle air filter
Power Commander 3

Bike will stall when coming off a highway run at a stop light. But not all the time.

A leak down tester will tell you if its your rings or intake valves or exoust valves. Mine was doing that and it was the TPS and it didnt even through a code 27.00 bucks.

If you haven't removed the throttle body and intake recently, it's probably not a leak. But to check for intake leaks, while the bike is idling, spray some carb cleaner where the intakes meet the head, and where the throttle body mounts to the intake. Seems a lot of '07 lately have been posting about bad IAC modules, might be that.

check by spraying cerb cleaner around the intake while its running,if it sucks some in the idol will change. many 07"s show signs of intake leak but it is ussually a TPS,tps adjustment screw,idol air controler, or crank position sensor.

Do not mess with the idle screw. Its set from the factory. If it has come loose it needs to go back where it was. Not sure the spec on it though. Idle is set by the cpu.

Thanks for the info, just wondering if my check engine light would come on if I had a bad module or sensor...

idol screw is not really an idol screw ,its the tps adjuster,if its off either way u will have problems(been there)seems the non existant heat heat problems can melt the factory installed locktite and the screw can back out,and i had the same problem as the op,after a long highway run the bike would stall and not idol till i shut it off with the ignition switch,tryed iac unplugged pc and as it got worse the high idol got bad,dealer put it on the digita technition and it was a half hour laber and no problems since.

it will if u get to the point where it idols over 1500 rpm u get a lose of idol control code.

think u can check the tps by reading the output voltage,thats how they set the adjustment screw?
