Anyone have any good suggestions for a hotel for Biketoberfest, beach front? Never been to either bike week down there, I know things are spread out but would like to be near a little nightlife without havin' to drink and drive.

I know there's a trip forum here but this one has a lot more visits then that one.

Things aren't as spread out as they are in Strugis or Myrtle Beach. Problem is you want beach front. If you go up towards the Iron Horse, Dest. Harley or the race track you have a 20 to 30 mins ride. Be real carefully with drinking and riding..... besides being dangerous, the cops don't play around.

Your first time at Bike Week or Biketoberfest, you want to be as near to Main Street as you can get. Use an online map and find the motels and hotels nearest Main St.at A1A (S. Atlantic Ave.) Some are within walking (or crawling) distance.
