I have TDs on mine and can still keep up with the group I ride with. They typically ask me to ride at the back, but its not because of low end loss I love my TDs, sound, heat and looks. I have not had a dyno, dont plan to. I am pretty happy with my bike, but I also plan for a 107 over the winter. Not because of low end loss.
i had rinehart true duals on my stage 1 set up- hated them, lost bottom end tourque . ditched them and went with a vance and hines x pipe on front and rinehart 4 inch slipons on back - works perfect all the tourque and the sound is right there. getting some 255 cams next week

You say this based on what???? If you haven't had a dyno done, and you're saying you can tell the difference in 3-5 HP/TQ (if it's even there), based on "impression or feel", well, I'll let it go at that, but I don't believe you.

Why do they ask you to ride in the back? Inquiring minds want to know.

I had dyno tune done after i reinstalled head pipe, as others have mentioned in here its about personal feel on your own bike , as far as you believing me i could care less, i posted my opinion on my bike - not yours or anyone elses. If yours works for you then thats awesome- just dont be judging anyone elses opinion on their own bike.
I've never had mine dynod but I do know how it feels & runs compared to other bikes & have had buddies tell the dealer "I want it to run like his" . So yeah I believe you can tell. Sure can't say - there's 2.5 hp but you still know
I didn't mean to offend you, although I see how you could have been based on my statement, but the bottom line is, you can't make a statement about losing torque or gaining it based on "feel", it has to be substansiated or it's just opinion.
