Default 2010 Street Glide

Hello everybody.....I am new to the forum and love all the info from you guys and gals. Wondering if anybody else out there is having any poblems with there induction modules on the 2010 models with fuel injection ? Not only with the modules but problems with Harley getting the part which has been on back order since my bike went in the shop on July 5th. Still waiting !!! WTF ! No ride for over a month now ! Very frustrated ! Oh ya....no loaner and no rental !

OUCH!
Find out exactly what part they are waiting on, with part number.
get your work order number.

CALL H-D and try to get some action on your side.

Call a couple of other dealers and see if the part is really on back-order or are you getting the run-around.

Warranty service can be done at any dealer, not just the selling dealer

Emphasize that your friends have no reason to consider buying a Harley when they see yours has been held up for over a month

Mike

Thanks guys for your replies and advice. Have been on the phone with Harley customer (no) care several times and gone up the corporate ladder searching for answers to only hear the same BS....sorry Sir but the part is on back order from a different vendor and there is nothing we can do as we are not obligated to offer you a rental or a loaner, only obligated to fix your bike under warrenty. I dont think that I should suffer being down for over a month because they are having problems with vendors and defective parts. What other recourse do I have ? Any ideas guys ?

Good luck! I've been fighting with corporate for over 2 months ....well not really fighting because no one from corporate will even call me back for my issues. Bike was in the shop for about 3 weeks and they finally "found" an ECM to do the replacement after I found it at another dealer for them???

Have called all dealers within 100 miles and get the same s_ _ t.....part is on back order, so I guess corporate is not lying. I just don't think I should lose half the summer down because of their vendor or design and manufacturing problems ! A new "Victory" is looking pretty good right now ! WTF !
