My owners manual says 24oz (not shop manual - the little book that came with the bike), which is what I put in. The dealer says it should take a quart. Who is correct?
I will check it next ride, but did not get a chance last night as I finished late.
I changed my tranny oil yesterday and was under the impression 32 oz was the quantity. I put in 30 oz and the tranny was at the full mark. Mines an 07 SG. Perhaps they have changed?
By the way I'm new to Harley, when do you change the primary fluid? Also what oil do you guys use in the crank case and primary?

You better add the other 2 oz, the 07 holds 1 quart, its bigger than the 5 speed. Most people change trans and primary at same time about every 10k, some change them on every other oil change.
