Well, on my '07 SG there was no slack to take out, believe me I tried. The SG Clutch control angles the cable more to a 90 degree angle on the Ergo bar. I needed more cable to allow a smooth turn going into the fairing gromett. Even with the 6" over it is still a tight turn back into the fairing. As for the brake line, it is a one piece fabricated unit and the top piece is hard pipe. The angle is quite a bit different from stock. I did not want to risk bending the pipe to fit. Don't fancy finding out it is overstressed when the brakes fail and I end up in a guard rail. I installed Russel lines, Banjos, and the compensator valve unit. The cables are no problem, unless you want to run them through the bars.......Deutch connectors F#*^*#!!!!!! One day I will learn the trick for getting these things apart without destroying the pins.
So for me, the small job turned into a much larger one and cost more than I expected. Oh well.

I'm 5'6" and would like a bar that gives me a little nore pull back but DON'T wanna block the stock mirrors.....Klock site says the ERGO BACK bars add 2" more height. Can anyone with these tell me if the block the mirrors??

Default 09 Street Glide Handlebar change

Does anyone have the instructions to change the handlebars out? I am going to do it myself, I just didn't know if there was anything special I should know about before I get started. If anyone ran into problems please let me know. I have the stock 09 FLHX bars on there now and will be switching to Yaffee 13" Bars I have ABS, Cruise Control and Radio. I have bought the Extended Plug and play wire bundles for everything to include extended Clutch and ABS break lines. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.
