The thread title (Screwed by dealer) shows up when you do a Google search, but it can't be viewed. I guess the mods not only locked it, they hid it too :-(
I'm sure the original thread was "hidden" as part of the "settlement" to prevent any additional negative opinions / comments, but nonetheless, I'm glad the issue was resolved and both parties can now move on.
Kudos to both Ben & CarltonHD for coming to an agreement that they can BOTH live with.
Could Carlton HD have handled this better? Absolutely! But in the end they did the right thing. I'm happy for you, now you can get the bike you thought you bought in the first place.

I hope the dealer takes this as an education rather than a negative experience. Learning from issues like this is the difference from being in business 35 years with only one year of experience 35 times over or having 35 years of experience.
