I wanted to update those of you who were following my situation.
I received a call on Friday from the GM at CarltonHD. He was pleasant and professional. He asked if I wanted to keep or return the bike. I replied that i wanted to return the bike. Without hesitation, he said that they would come pick up the bike and refund me 100% of what i paid. He said that someone would come Sunday night, and call me to arrange for the pick up of the bike. I received a call on Sunday night from the service manager. He was very nice. We made plans for the next day to meet at my place so that he could pick up the bike. He showed up exactly when he said he would and loaded the bike in his trailer. I received a full refund just as the dealer had stated. I am very satisfied with the outcome.
I would like to thank CarltonHD for demonstrating excellent customer service.
I would also like to thank all of you who showed interest in this, I appreciate your support.
Glad it worked out but one has to wonder why they took the low road from the start. I have to agree with Fatboy Brian. I believe that the discussions about CarltonHD on here (and their response) prompted the decision to come clean and make it right.
Again, I know it sucked to go through the bullshit you had to go through, but glad it worked out in the end.

Excellent. Glad it worked out for you in the long run. However, would I ever do business with CarltonHD? No. Either they're too stupid to know what ABS looks like, or they are lying through their teeth.
Nice of them to step up to the plate only after being called out by you, and pressured by the masses.
Not that I'm not happy for you, I'm happy that they stood up and fixed the situation, but I wonder why it had to take such pressure to prompt action. Not trying to come across as 'damned if you do, damned if you don't, these guys are never happy', but at the same time, they put themselves in this situation.
It's unlikely that I'll ever be in their neck of the woods, but if I found myself nearby, I wouldn't go out of my way to support their business...
Good job CarltonHD, I'm glad you stepped up, but understand that you've got a black eye to ride out now...
