I only wanted to do a speaker replacement , no amp and in reading reviews here and on www.RoadGlide.org the Boom speakers got good reviews better than the Hog Tunes replacement and with the dealer discount I have for the first year at 129 I could not do better.

Getting it off is easy - getting it back on is the trick. Go to the thread by "wachuko" it is by far the best se of instructions out there.
Remove the headlight assmbly per his suggestions and it will go well for you.
About two hours, including a hidden antenna and speaker install.

His basic response is the street glide is an electra glide, just stripped down.

I bought em anyways, installed them without a problem, and am very happy with them.
Thanks for clearing that up. I think I'll try 'em.
