I put the HD Boom Front Speakers in my bike today . IMO a big improvement over stock and for $129 after discount I think they were really worth it. At 75 mph I can hear it clearly at 1/2 volume
MAY I ASK why YOU CHOOSE THEM OVER SAY j@m OR hogtunes?? Does anyone have an opinion on which Front speakers are best for a Road glide. and why? tks( yes i know theres past threads but speakers have improved over time.
Subscribe. Talked to a service tech yesterday in Hot Springs and he let me hear them. Sounded great at full volume with no distortion. My stockers distort at about 55%. (shameful...)
+1 on the Boom front speakers, no amp, stock radio. They are the best fairing speakers I have tried. I have had Hogtunes - 5.25", J&M 5.25", & Polk 5.25". The Boom sound better & clearer to me, particularly on the highway at speed.
Amp, what amp. I do not need a 250w or 500w amp when the speakers a 2 feet from my ears. If you can not hear the stock set-up then get your butt to an audiologist because you have something wrong with your hearing.
