Use the brake pad pin hole to orient the brake pads in the correct direction. See! You shoulda got a service manual!

Now read it so you don't end up dropping both pads at once and get confused what goes where.

Sometime it just scares me to death that people work on there own brakes and don't stick to what they know best like being lawyers or heart and brain surgeons. Sure would be a lot safer out there for me. What I want to know is how grbrown attaches the link like that? Still have not figured that out. Sure fill a lot safer about billh changing his pads. Not sure if that's going to help getting the rotor bolts out.

Just replaced all 3 rotors few weeks ago...heat the bolt up a bit....install new bolts...torque the bolts then enjoy the ride.

TORX Bolts on rear rotor are 45! and if you want to avoid heat you have to be careful. Using heat can damage the bearing in the wheel if you aren't careful...I prefer an easier method that worked for me. CAREFULLY stand the wheel against a wall or other stationary object. Place a towel underneath the tire in case it falls over. Using a T45 (IMPORTANT SO YOU DON'T RUIN BITS & BOLTS) and a breaker bar very slowly apply pressure until they begin to loosen.
