Default Removing jackpot baffles

Anyone tell me the trick? Took out the bottom bolt thought that's all there was too it.

No, you'll need to beat the hell out of it now. Get yourself a block of wood that will fit into the end that attaches to the head pipe. Stick it in that end and fish it around until you can feel the end of the baffle. Once you find the end of the baffle with that piece of wood, you need to hit that wood repeatedly until the baffle begins to move out the large end of the muffler. Usually it is helpful to spray it with WD 40 before you start.

One other thing, make sure you support the muffler on the end opposite of the one your beating on. Otherwise, you'll dent it. I usually sit on a stool and rest the bottom of the muffler on the edge of my boot. After you get the baffle moving a little bit, you may be able to grab it with a pair of pliers and pull it out.

I had tried to remove mine before and couldn't get the bolt out of the bottom so I gave up. Guess I'll try again now. Let me know how it goes Beans.

i put the broomstick on the floor and use the weight of the mufflers to tap em out.

Just the regular baffles. I was just thinking about taking off the wrap. Would like to get comp baffles maybe this winter.
