Default 1999 Road Glide

So I am new to the Harley community and do not really know much about them. The reason for the post is that my uncle, who passed away 4 years ago unexpectedly, was a big Harley guy (worked for them in Texas for a few years when he lived there) had a 1999 road glide with 12,000 miles. It is very clean and I believe had an extra chrome package added when it was purchased new.

Well now my aunt would like to get rid of the bike as she has no use for it. The bike has sat for the past 4 years and she just had a guy drain all of the old gas and replace the battery so that she can get rid of it running. She has offered the bike to me but like I said I do not know anything about Harley's. I am a victory guy who has a 2001 V92C with 10,000 miles.

What would the bike to be worth? Anything that I should look for or be aware of? I was trying to do some research on the net to look at comparisons for pricing and what not but there does not appear to be many for sale out there, dont know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Any help or information that I could get on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

What it is worth is what someone is willing to pay for it. You can get an idea of values from either Kelly Blue Book, or NADA both links below.

Take it to a reputable dealer or indy for a once over. Bikes sitting for a while tends not to be good for gaskets and seals.

...... i think you ought to ask your Aunt if you can take the shark out for a couple 3 hours.
.... after experiencing the Road Glide, i think you'll come away impressed, and soon be putting even fewer miles on that Vic.
