CVO bikes bring a premium. There are guys who appreciate them and are willing too pay the premium. A creampuff 07 CVO Ultra is gonna bring 20K, and the seller isn't likely to take a lowball offer.
I'd much rather have a 20K mile 07 CVO Ultra than a 10K mile 2010 Ultra Limited.
......$20,000 for an 07 bike, in this economy, is just plain stupid....it's NEW BIKE money...and another thing...where are all the people screamin about how the 09 and later's are a "must have" improvement..."OMG you have to have an 09 frame...sooo much better..and wide tire too!"...now some of them are like...get the 07 it's a great bike...bottom line...all the guys who shot 30K plus on a CVO will tell you to get the 07...I'd RUN from that deal...like I said before..in 2 years time you will WISH you never spent that much dough on a bike that will be a 13,500 buy on Ebay...
Thanks for the reply, I'm leaning towards that one as well. I did previously own a 2011 street glide with the 103" but sold it for a nice profit. The 2010 96ci is the black denim color which I really like.
2006 screaming eagle ultra is a pretty good deal plus it has a 1 year warranty from the dealer. 103ci 6 speed fully loaded BUT older frame, not a deal breaker. Tour pack, heated seats & grips , chromed out pretty much done. Wife would possibly ride with the tour pack.
2010 street glide : like the color, motor size isn't a factor really 96ci speed. new frame, Will most likely do some add ons, the current pipes are vance and hines 2 into 1, really prefer the dual exhaust look.
Better to buy a newer, improved bike that rides, brakes and handles better than focus on shiney chrome. In addition, the 06, 07 CVO Ultra seat is not very comfortable. Heat, yes, Comfort, no.
I traded a 07 CVO ultra that I purchased new for a 14 Limited. Never looked back. Enjoyed my 07 but it did not compare.

Thanks for the info, either way I go; I should be able to break even in a down the line when I sell the bike.
