Knowing Harley they will come out with a 105" then a 107" and on and on. I think it's completely ridiculous. My 07 Tahoe looks the same and has all the features of a 2012 Tahoe. I think a change every 5 years or so is plenty.
Hey, go read to the Gold Wing forums for some intertainment. They just got a brand new model after 11 years of no changes and it is almost exactly the same as the old. They are not happy campers.
After the major mods of the new frame, bigger tank, exhaust, wheels, and so on, I think Harley can take a little break.
I think the 2012's will be fine bikes. We all know the 103" engine isn't a big deal, but it certainly isn't a bad deal either. After all the major changes the MOCO made over the last few years, a year or two of small tweaks or refinement is expected.
Can I give the 2012's some love? Not yet..all my love goes to the bikes in my garage
I do think it would be cool if next year if HD has a 110 yr anniversary model / option that gets a 110 cid engine.
What's to get excited about? Years 2010 and 2011 were steps backwards IMO and 2012 catches back up. Hopefully, 2013 will introduce 110" stock motor. Then, I will be excited.
[quote=lh4x4;8707416]I liked them so much that I got the 12 Night Rod special and the Road Glide Custom in Denim black.
Picked up the V-Rod when I got back from Sturgis. The Road Glide had to be ordered because no Dealer had one in Denim black with cruise, ABS and security. It should be in mid September.
Now I'm thinking of a Switch Back and Street Bob.
The V-Rod completes my collection of all families of HD Bikes. The Road Glide gives me the two types of fairings on the touring bikes.
Congrats on your new toys. BUT, you have way too much money, on your hands.
Why don't you give some of that money to me, so I can have one of every HD family bike.
I heard that Harley has cut production and they are just trying to keep inventories low to keep prices on the higher side. The dealers are not getting that many new 12s and trading more with other dealers to get the bikes people want.
This is a delicate economy for expensive toys so it seems like Harley has done a good job to balance supply and demand and help protect the value of the bikes people already own. If the economy doesn't improve I would not expect a huge change from Harley. Sorry this got boring and long.
I am excited about the 12s but I have not bought a bike yet so maybe its my motorcycle fever.

I'm waiting for the V-Glide. The V-rod with the Road glide fairing and bags. I know some after market guys have built some and I can't wait until I can ride one.
