Is it me or did the 12's come out and get no love.
yes 103, but nothing that really stood out.
Now I know the MOCO can't go crazy every year,
but I'm wondering if they are going to go all out for the
110 Anniversary model with........
Recession, reduced units manufactured, they are not innovating anything except whats required when the next round of EPA rules take affect. Until then we will see nothing but new paint and parts shelf thrown at a bike to make something different until the next year.
New EPA rules and we will see ALL new Harley, whether we like what we when that happens remains to be seen..
I liked them so much that I got the 12 Night Rod special and the Road Glide Custom in Denim black.
Picked up the V-Rod when I got back from Sturgis. The Road Glide had to be ordered because no Dealer had one in Denim black with cruise, ABS and security. It should be in mid September.
Now I'm thinking of a Switch Back and Street Bob.
The V-Rod completes my collection of all families of HD Bikes. The Road Glide gives me the two types of fairings on the touring bikes.
How about 110's in every bike that can't be spanked by my 05 98"? The stock motors as they come off the showroom floor are pathetic IMHO.
Rick
You are right! So was yours off the floor. It takes money to build the power and speed you want. The reality is most people are cheap....always looking for a free or cheap way. Moco and everyone else has to build something that is affordable and repeatable.
BTW......2012 is boring. Nothing that hasn't been introduced.
2011 vivid Black Ultra Limited / 2012 vivid Black Ultra Limited Are these the exact
same bike, except for the serial # year designation? If so, this may answer your question about the love for the 2012s........................hdman

Not to troll in the touring forum, just trying to gain alittle perspective, but DAMN! Has anyone read this...? Kinda reminds me of the saying,"I don't mean to beep my own horn, but BEEP BEEP!" Just kidding man, but seriously.......
The CVOs are amazing, but the rest of the 2012 line made me yawn. But, if it ain't broke......
Truth is they are all still great bikes. The EPA makes the engines underperform. Nothing a Stage 1 can't wake up. Which was the case for 2010 and 2011 as well.
