Default Python Baffle removal

I have Python slip-ons on my 06 Ultra. They sound great but I want a little more sound. Does anyone know how to remove the baffles from slip on Pythons. There are 2 small screws under the pipes but when I loosened them, the baffle didnt seem to move at all. Theres gotta be a trick to this I'm sure. Also I have the download and stage one kit installed but Will I have to do anything else?

After you get those 2 screws out, pull real damm hard on those baffles, they will come out, but they are in there tight. I use to have a set and had the baffles out several times.

Since i already have the download and stage 1 kit , will it do any damage to the motor running without any baffles at all?

I have the same pipes.. with a dealer download, and high flow air filter...I have not had them on long, they sound OK ..but a lot of popping when de- acceleration.. I may go back to stock...do you have this problem..If anything I might put in a longer baffle brummie

I have the same pipes too.... I tried the quiet baffles and it was a chore to get the standard baffles out and even harder to get the quiet baffels out....

I ended up drilling a small hole in the top of the baffle and hooked the baffle with something of substance and used a claw hammer and a block of wood on the tip and pulled them like a nail....... have fun getting them back in and lined up so the screws go in.....

Mine are extremely loud so I wrapped the baffles with the ceramic baffle wrap.... That made it even more fun to get back in....

I have a 103 with true dual headpipes and my mufflers are the newer style with the scalloped ends.

Anyone ever try to cut the baffle down about half way?
