Question Cat Removal

Thinking of going to the catless head pipe. Any Ideas on how that would affect my warranty if I returned to the dealer for service ?

The only way the dealer can tell its been gutted is if they take the heat shield off the main section of the header and how often do you think a tech making piece rate is going to do that? They rush through stuff so fast to make a decent wage your worried about nothing. When I removed mine I made the opening small enough that you'd have to be looking for it to know it had been tampered with. Do it right and the tech will not be the wiser.

Go to www.fullsac.com and buy the headpipe for your bike. You can then keep you old one un-touched in case you ever need it for return to stock or warranty purposes. You can also put the stock one back on trade and use the pipe for another bike if it fits.

Thumbs up OR...

You can get a catless head pipe from American Custom. Instead of exchanging yours, just buy one and keep your original one in case you have to put it back on for warranty work>
