Is there a company or companies that make a good quality aftermarket hard saddlebag? I'm thinking of putting some hard bags on my RKC. The HD prices for the bags are just stupid so I thought I would check out the aftermarket before looking at ebay for used bags.
So if you have a good or bad experience with aftermarket hard saddlebag manufacturers, let me know.
If you are talking about the hard bags on a standard Road King, then my first port of call is ebay, if you wanted a Google after market supplier, I used Top Shop Carbon for mine but they are the extended type but he may supply standard!
Well recommended by a lot on this forum.
I have a 06' RKC and bought a used set of Cavalry hard bags from a HD forum member.I really liked them.Well made, looked great, good price, locked, and the inside were lined w/felt.I ended up selling them because I then wanted stretched bags.I ended up w/ HD stretch bags.Which I love. But if I did'nt I would have kept the Cavalry bags.Check them out at Cavalryfiberglass.com.

Some on ebay are quality. If you have the coin go with Baddad, Milwaukee Baggers, etc. But you can go with other great companies like top shop, fairingfactory, sumax seems to make a nice one with custom lid.
