it is cheaper jsut to send hwat you have, the cost of the new shields would cover the whole cost of coating the shields bud. ship what you have is always cheaper
No problem, I'll be hand delivering them to you this winter along with some other bits.
I have a friend or two who may want a few parts done also, I've recommended your site and they are stoked. I'll probably try to collect all our parts, label them accordingly, and bring you everything in one shot...then come back and pick it all up once its all complete.
I'm glad you are up in the burbs, I'd much rather drop them off and shake your hand than pack them up for shipping.
I kinda figured powdercoating would be cheaper, but I've never had it done so I was just guessing. Anyone out there in the Indianapolis or Central Indiana area that knows of a good trustworthy powdercoating place?
Also...on the exhaust, would powdercoating hold up to the heat? I know Rinehart sells black true duals, but don't know what they use to coat them.
I live in Indy and know of a place that does it local, send me a PM if you want the info, I've seen some of their work and it is sharp.
I brought some parts here on the forum and had powdered coated. Then there was no down time when replacing the chrome parts with the powdercoated one. I also powdercoated the parts taken off and sold them.
