Default PCV software for Mac?

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a MAC version of the Power Commander software? The CD that came with it says it's for Windows so I'm sure it won't work. I checked the power commander website but I didn't see anything about Mac software...

Set up a virtual machine on your Mac using Parallels or some other virtual box software. Its a really straight forward process. I use Windows programs everyday on my Mac without issue.

Yep, this is what you will need to do. PCV is not compatible with MAC.

Just out of curiosity, do you have to install and reboot into a Windows OS to do this?

Nope. Just operate out of a "window." No dual booting required.

You can use a virtual operating system, something like this. http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/overview.html

You can also check out emulators and web based operating systems.

correct. I run a XP virtual machine inside OSx using Parallels and it is seamless. Open Parallels and a XP window opens on the desktop. XP automatically grabs the mouse, keyboard, etc and releases them as soon as you click back outside the XP window. Files drag and drop between the two OS's as well.

It is slick and I believe there is even a free full function trial version

Or if you don't mind switching from MAC OS X use boot camp. No cost, no problem. No free trial to expire.

Yeah, I just switch over to Windows 7 which resides on a Boot Camp partition.

Of course, the OP should be told that you'll need to purchase a Windows license.

I really don't understand why they don't develop their software to be cross-platform. The software isn't so complex that it couldn't be delivered via Adobe Air to run everywhere.
