Default Ipod Interface

I just added the new I-pod interface to my 09 Ulta wired to the rear bags
Which I pod plays back the Best? Has anyone tried this out yet? Seems to sound great but would like louder volume similar to cd's' Please let me know. Thanks JimBob

Check your volume setting on the ipod. Any ipod should be better than a cd

"loudness" of playback is very often a function of how the music was ripped in the first place. The best thing to do is to experiment with the settings in iTunes (assuming you are using it) until you find the settings you like before ripping your entire library.

That said, the default settings usually suffice anyway. I tend to be more interested in clarity rather than volume

Not even close !!! A FACTORY store bought CD, produces the best sound.

The nano works best. I have a 4th & 5th gen. I am experiencing the same issue you are with lack of umph in the volume area.
