Electrical tape, exhaust wrap, leather wrap. Are you serious?!
Well, as I said before I would go with the leather wrap. I've always like to do something different with My bikes, never wanted to do what everyone else does. It's the American way.
This will give you an idea of what leather looks like. I bought this 3 bikes ago and keep transferring them to the new bike. I think Captain Itch, a site sponsor, has something similar and I would'a bought his but I didn't know at the time.
I would suggest leather..Easy to install ,and would offer greater protection if you were to drop your bike..Plus could be taken off if you get tired of the look.. http://www.shop.captain-itch.com/Cra...5.qscstrfrnt03
whatever u do, post pics. I was gonna take a bunch of parts off in a couple months for black powder coat (or parkerized finish that'd be cool) your pics might help me decide what im gonna do,haha
The problem with exhaust wrap is trapped moisture from washing or riding in the rain. It will eventually rust under the wrap. Powder coating is the most cost effective long term solution IMO.
