I thought exhaust wrap was some sort of matterial that has lots of tiny fibers that will give you little splinters in your hands when you mess with it.

On the exhaust pipes you only mess with it once.

PC is overdone
Exhaust Wrap is over rated
Electrical tape is lame
I think there is only 1 of 2 ways to go here:
A: Camo Duct Tape - super cool! or
B: Pink hockey stick tape!

Either way you cant go wrong.... Thats what i'd do if i had crash bars......

Powdercoat gets my vote. That piece is an easy on and off. Just time it with the PC guy you choose to minimize downtime.

I like the idea of the exhaust wrap for a rat bike but yours is too nice and I would think it would drag down the looks of the rest of your bike.

Go with the exhaust wrap, it will look "industrial". Then, when you remove it and your chrome is rusted, that too will look "industrial".

Black duct tape. Or...just look for a picture of a bike with a power coated crash bar. I prefer the duct tape solution. "Cheap insurance".

For "true" industrial look, remove the guard and replace with threaded blackpipe and elbows......

Since it's going ''industrial'', is it possible to saw a teflon frying pan in three pieces, drill a hole in it and use it as a airbaffle under the headlight ???

Been thinkin about it for a while, it's cheap and nothing sticks on teflon !!
