After a little delay thanks to Miss Irene I was able to finally pick up my new Street Glide. Signed all the paperwork on Saturday but let her sit at the dealership to ride the storm out. Also they have thing new thing at the dealership when you buy a bike. It is like you own personal poker run. You go from parts, to service to sales, etc and draw a card. Well I got a 3 of a kind which was good for a set of eyewear up to $125.
Back to the SG:
I forgot just how nimble and fun to ride the Street Glide is. After riding more top heavy touring bikes with tour paks for the last 3 years I had to get used to the slightly lower center of gravity and lighter weight again. Ahh what fun!!! Feels great to be back.
Here are a few pics right before she went into the garage for some parts swapping. Haven't got a chance to see the Big Blue Pearl in bright sunlight yet. Can't wait. I do know this color takes on completely different personalities depending on the light.
