One more sugestion that I'm sure you have heard but I'll thro it out there any way. After 6 Back surgeries and a forever battle with Cronic pain. One thing that helps me Keep riding is I go once a week and have a Deep Tissue massage, so fru poo masssage but a real deep tissue. It doesn't feel the greatest the whole time, But it works. You probably heard it all: weight loss, core work, chiropractor, backrest on the bike, icing the back, muscle therapy, good sports medicine non-surgical-minded clinic, etc.
I do all that and eventually turned to cortisone nerve block in the spine...pain is now gone...I am new person...and riding again...SO, I am now a believer of "better life through chemistry" philosophy...
