yep - it was a sad day around here. I watched as my RKC was loaded on a trailer and headed off to Houston. I sure hated selling her. BUT, with arthritic knees and a pinched sciatic nerve (thanks Uncle Sam) I no longer enjoy riding. well, that's exactly right, I love riding, just don't like the pain and cramps in my hips.
think I'm gonna find a cheap beat up Sportster that needs rebuilding.... maybe make it into a trike.
anyway, it's been real. thanks for allowing me to hang around these last several years.

I think that's a great idea. And there's no reason it should look like a servi-car or an old guys bike, either. I like bobber style Sportsters, if I were building a trike, it might look something like this.... (this one was built by a guy named Norm Wilding )
I think that we'll be seeing more Harley based trikes in the coming years as many of us Harley riders get older.

Sorry to hear that Aviator and thank you for your service to our country. Sorry it cost you something you love. Hope you feel ok about checking in on the forum from time to time. You can post pics of your project.
