Default '02 Screamin Eagle stage II?

I just bought an '02 RK FLHPI that was never a Police bike. It came advertised as haveing a Screamin Eagle stage II kit installed from new, not sure if it was factory or dealer installed. I'm not sure what this is, have been led to believe it is a 95in kit with air cleaner and pipes. Does anyone know, or how can I tell without a motor tear down. All comments and thoughts welcome. Thanks.

Not sure because of the age of the bike but newer ones have SE on the heads. Also if you look at your air cleaner, it will be open on the back side of the cover and there should be a round K&N style filter inside. The stock A/C has a plastic baffle on the back side of the cover that has a small opening for air to enter the filter. The filter is also flat and D-shaped with a paper element. As for bore size, you either have to take the heads off to measure the bore or use one of the gauges that check volume of air passing through the engine. You can also raise the pushrod tube, if you know how, and check the pushrods themselves. Unless it was a factory install, dunno if MOCO did that, the pushrods should be adjustable. Maybe somebody else can offer up some more advice but that's all I have.

It has K&N style air cleaner and the cover is open to the backside, with Python mufflers, not true duals. No lettering on the heads, black with polished edges. Thanks for the thoughts Slick.

If it has a SE stage II then it's a probably a 95" with the 203 cam. No way to really tell unless you open it up and see the stampings on the parts or get some kind of verification from the place that installed it. The pushrods may still be stock. You may also try racing a friend who has a stock 88" motor and a bike of similar weight. If you pull away from them easily, you probably have the 95" with cams.
