Why didn't you direct the movers on how to secure your bike in that moving truck? Why leave it up to a couple of guys that have no clue?
Sorry to hear about what happened in the crate. So unavoidable. But you know, these days all you have out there are drug users and losers doing this kind of work.
I questioned them when they loaded it up. And was pretty much told that is how it's always done and the only way the company they work for will let them do it. As far as I'm concerned, it should have been crated up in my presence. Do the fairings come painted? I know the install is easy.... There are some other scratches that will need to be fixed as well. When they took it away there was a scrape at the bottom of the left Saddle bag (my fault), 2 small scratches on the fairing in the same location where they crushed it (my fault) and a ding in the rear of the front fender which I have no idea how that got there. Probably done during assembly and I just didn't notice. Over here there is a 1 in 5 chance of an accident, so no sense in fixing it right away. When I see the bike again and wash it I will look for all other new damage and send in my claim after getting quotes.

First thing I saw when they opened the crate was my fairing leaning against the wall of the crate. From the outside you can see that the all was protruding outward. It was obviously not strapped down very well, so even if they were to load it up on the truck good they probably would have still damaged it.

I sure hope not. A friend was telling me his friends bike came from Japan upside down.

An infamous cathouse in Germany that if you went you could possibly need a shot of penicillin afterwards to repair the damage.

Ahhhh..... OK. I'll remember to stay away when I go up there. I'm allergic to PCN so it could be really bad. LOL
