On the Ultra low beam with the driving lights
But on the Dyna brights because the low beam is almost imposable to see.
On my former Street Glide I ran the brights in the daytime for the same reason as the Dyna
High beams during the day...being seen is of utmost importance.
And if my high beams **** you off momentarily, sorry but atleast
you noticed me and didn't turn in or pull out in front of me.
I'm running a set of PIAA extreme white headlights along with
the Custom Dynamics moonshinez directionals.
I had a damaged headlight connector, went to discount auto and bought a new one which got me to thinking... a scary thought LOL
I decided to hook up the low and high beam connector backwards, then adjusted the headlight down a little. This allows me to run the high beam with the running lights. Its real bright day or night with both on. Rarely do I get a cager complain about them but then again, I dont care if they like em or not. Being seen is more important to me than their comfort level. Just my .02
i rewired my scoot, so my running lights still are on when i have my high beams on. i run high with running lights all the time. im also running the Harley LED, so i get noticed. i could care a less is someone doesnt like it. better to be seen than a black top cowboy...
