Got bike up and runn'n again, was sent a custom map and bike runs good not missing but for some reason when getting into the throttle and the best way to describe it is the motor sounds like a lawnmower with the muffler off, it is worse in 5th gear but in 6th noise gone.Very quiet going down road when not under load.. This motor has no lifter noise as a matter of fact with a stethoscope all you here is whoosh whoosh just not sure if he can correct this in the map.Or is this something the se255 cams make it sound like? Any idy??
Ok, never mind found problem, the guy's shop I had it at told me I should put new plugs in it after doing all the work (myself thank god) cams, lifters pushrods and new oil pump, well harley is about 3
40 min away and they were not going to be open by the time I could have got there so he ran to oriley's and got these champion plugs and said they were the same thing as the harley ones, keep in mind he went to the harley school in fl. so I figured hew knew, well I put scream'n eagle in it a while ago and now I can pull front wheel off the ground, this thing is scary fast with awesome power now..BTW could someone tell me what was going on with those plugs causing motor to run like that?
