Yes. if you charge by plugging into your PC's USB port, then this will work.

On a side note, I got this to keep a Sansa MP3 player charged while going down the road. BUT no sound while plugged into the charger. OEM site says I need to get a (ground loop isolator) PAC SNI-1/3.5 RCA Noise Filter.
