messing around with the bike the other day, i decided to kick the stereo on for some tunes for a minute. turned the volume up no problem. then i went to turn it back down and no go.

my volume down part of the switch took a crap.

took the housing apart got the switch out, and noticed its a sealed unit

i searched the forum, seen you can replace that switch by soldering a new one in.

anyone know the part number for the switch?

i searched the forum, and google and came up with nothing.

figured id try here to see if anyone knew it before i called the dealer and they dont know what im talking about.

 

71642-08 60 bucks for this little sucker.

 

i called the dealer and they gave me part number 71810-08 lol.. so what one is it?

and reading through some more post on here, people on here are claiming the switch is under $30.. im not getting that with any of the part numbers i have gotten.
