12"s put your hands about 3" above the fairing. You can use your mirrors but will have to replace cables and lines. 10"s right at the top. You will need mirrors, some replace the clutch line. Neither needs wiring extended. I would not waste my time with 8"s. Way to much effort for a mild change.

man im seeing more of these 12" bars and wondering if thats what i want to go with...I was looking at 10" bars for my EGC....I use to have a 07 streetbob with the 13" apes stock and those were perfect
