So my light on my spot switch is burned out and I've learned I have to replace the entire switch. Searching this forum last weekend I found a thread where somebody posted the part number and like always I can't find that thread now. Can someone post a part number for the FLHT 07 switch?
Also I'm confused with accessing the switches by pulling the fairing cap. Server manual says remove the ignition switch which is easy and remove the 2 screws on the side which I did and pull up. Mine wants to come forward but I can't get it off. I have the chrome trim around the radio is that preventing it from coming up.
You have to wiggle it out with a little force, it is a tight fit but it comes out. I don't know the part number but they cost about $20 or $25 dollars at the dealer, been a long time I can't remember. You have a choice of what you want it to say, spot, acc I don't know what else, just tell the guy at the parts counter what you want, he'll know what you need, it is something they usually carry in stock.
Yeah I know the dealer will be able to help but they are step on prices so I wanted to see it I could find it online for cheaper than the dealer has it.
